Dr. Shuli Blobstein, founder of Shalom Blobstein, DMD, PLLC, is a pediatric dentist committed to providing compassionate, expert dental care for children of all ages. A graduate of Touro College with a degree in Biology (with honors), Dr. Blobstein earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where he also served as president of the Alpha Omega dental fraternity.

Following dental school, Dr. Blobstein completed a General Practice Residency and a specialized Pediatric Dental Residency at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. His advanced training includes comprehensive pediatric procedures and full-mouth dental rehabilitation under general anesthesia. Dr. Blobstein is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the New York and Second District Dental Associations.

In addition to leading his private practices in Hewlett and Borough Park, Dr. Blobstein has served in several respected pediatric dental offices throughout New York. He is known for his calm, patient-centered approach—an attitude shaped in part by raising his own children—and strives to make each visit a positive, stress-free experience for both kids and parents. His clinical focus includes pediatric dentistry, preventative care, and safe, effective sedation for children.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Blobstein enjoys tinkering with home improvement projects and spending quality time with his wife and kids. His mission is to create a dental home that supports healthy smiles for a lifetime—delivered with empathy, education, and a gentle touch.

    Organized weekly youth programs and community events for underprivileged children.
  • CareOne Senior Care Center, Teaneck, NJ – Organizer & Volunteer
    Delivered dental education and hygiene kits to nursing home residents.
  • Tomche Shabbos of Queens – Volunteer
    Assembled and respectfully distributed food packages to local families in need.
  • Shaare Zedek Medical Center, Jerusalem – Hospital Aide
    Provided translation, assisted with clerical work, and helped feed geriatric patients.

Research Experience

  • Public Health Research Institute, UMDNJ, Newark, NJ – Principal Technical Assistant
    Conducted antibody cloning research with Dr. Abraham Pinter; experienced in Ab plasmid vectors.
